One step forward, two steps back?

Or is it two steps forward, one step back? I'm not sure yet today. I woke up this morning feeling the worst yet since the surgery. Sore throat, deep cough, headache, the works. I think the cold I thought I had gotten rid of resurfaced. Either that or I still have some nitrous gas in my lungs. Either way, it sucks. And my jaw hurts again today, so I'm going to go back to more liquidy foods (I had mashed potatoes yesterday, which were great, but I think required too much from my jaw). *sigh*
