Cat food anyone?

I've been cat-sitting the past few days. They are such kind and grateful kitties. They were so happy that I've been coming by not once but twice each day to play with them and feed them, they decided to leave me a present. A bird. Poor birdie. Apparently one or both of the cats played with the bird before kindly leaving it in front of the front door where I would certainly see it when I walked in. Poor poor birdie....
