I've thought about you for years, but never quite got as far as sending a note or and email your way.
You were very influential throughout my college years, and are a big reason why I do what I do now and with so much enthusiasm.
Your energy, excitement, and passion for student services was contagious to everyone around you.
And now that you are gone, I'll never get a chance to say thank you for everything you did to help me define my path, even though you probably have no idea of the impact you made.
